Elon Women鈥檚 Track & Field Shines at NCAA East First Round
ELON 鈥� Six members of the Elon women’s track & field team competed Thursday on the opening day of the NCAA East First Round at the UK Outdoor Track & Field Complex. Katie Blount led the Phoenix with a 23rd-place finish in the 10,000-meter run, crossing the line in 34:11.55. Hannah Weber also represented Elon in the event, finishing 38th in 35:01.45. Isabella Johnson posted Elon’s top field-event finish of the day, placing 23rd in the hammer throw with a mark of 59.66 meters.
