Aledo Stuns Melissa 5-4 With Three HRs to Reach Softball State Championship
Aledo's Lady Bearkats knocked off Melissa in a back-and-forth UIL softball state semifinal, winning 5-4 on the strength of three home runs. Delaney Rosser, Breleigh Mayer, and Brooklynn Taloa each went deep as Aledo erased a 3-0 deficit and ended Melissa's 28-game winning streak. The Lady Bearkats advance to the state championship game next Friday.
