Tigers’ Red Tails Classic Matchup Against Tuskegee Set for 7:00 PM, Televised on ESPN 2
LIVINGSTON, Ala. — The University of West Alabama football team's season opener against Tuskegee in the Red Tails Classic has been set for 7 p.m. CST. West Alabama will officially open its 2026 campaign against Tuskegee on Sunday, Aug. 30, in Montgomery. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN2. The Red Tails Classic is an annual HBCU football event held at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery. This year's matchup between the Tigers and Golden Tigers will be the sixth collegiate football game in the event's history.
