GREENWOOD, Ind. – Five Swarthmore College softball players were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team this week. Lane Barron , Avery McClure , Ava Babcock , Iris Barone , and Lilly Goldberg all received the honor. Barron and Barone earned the nod for the third consecutive year. To be eligible for Academic All-District accolades, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better.
