Lilly Peters Set to Compete at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Regional in Fayetteville
Following a top-spot finish at the Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championships a few weeks ago, Lilly Peters of the Lindenwood track and field team has qualified for the NCAA West Regional Preliminary meet in the Javelin Throw on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. With this, she has become the first Lindenwood athlete to qualify for a Championship at the Division I level. The NCAA Preliminary Meets serve as the first round site for the national postseason meet, which will be held in Eugene, Oregon at Hayward Field, June 10-13.
