Jet Hernandez Named Summit League Golfer of the Year
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Junior Jet Hernandez was named the 2026 Summit League Golfer of the Year, the League announced on Wednesday. Hernandez is the first Pioneer golfer to earn the award since Jackson Solem was named Golfer of the Year in both 2021 and 2022. The Mutinlupa, Phillipines native finished 54-holes of the Summit League tournament in a dour-way tie for first place at four-under, before falling to eventual champion Gustav Liljeberg in the playoff.
