Former GSU Men鈥檚 Basketball Assistant Named NBA Coach of the Year
NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. - Former Glenville State Men's Basketball assistant coach Joe Mazulla has been named the 2025-26 NBA Coach of the Year, the association announced. Mazulla, who got his coaching start on Stephen Dye 's staff for two seasons in the early 2010s, led the Boston Celtics to a 56-26 record this season, despite missing six-time NBA All-Star Jayson Tatum. This year marked his fourth consecutive 50-win season as HC of the Celtics and he is now (238-90) during his tenure.
