Raptors’ Collin Murray-Boyles named to NBA all-rookie second team
Collin Murray-Boyles is being recognized by the NBA for his spectacular rookie season. The Toronto Raptors' power forward was among the players named to the NBA's all-rookie second team on Wednesday. Murray-Boyles, 20, was the Raptors' first-round pick (ninth overall) a year ago and immediately stepped in to provide some size to the lineup, especially as injuries limited centre Jakob Poeltl to just 46 games. Murray-Boyles averaged 8.5 points, five rebounds and 1.9 assists in 57 games this season, including 22 starts. He shot 58 per cent from the field.
