Bellbrook maintenance staff member Ron Tirey honored by Southwest District Athletic Board
BELLBROOK, Ohio — Ron Tirey, a member of the maintenance staff for Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Schools, has been a staple at Bellbrook High School for over a quarter century. He has coached baseball at various times, but has always expertly curated our grass athletic fields.
Over the years Ron has shown that he will do anything for our school and the kids in our community. He works seven days a week, to cut the grass and keep our fields in great condition. Ron also takes care of our stadium, ensuring that it is clean for scheduled events.
Because of his work, Ron was nominated for and received the Friend of Athletics & Media Award. He was recognized on Mar. 8, at the boys鈥� basketball district final games at Cincinnati鈥檚 Cintas Center. Ron joins fellow Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Schools award recipients Nick Falzerano (2024), Bob Pugh and Jim Pugh (2018), and Steve Berryhill (2017).
We are blessed to have Ron here at Bellbrook. I have no idea what we will do without him, when he retires in a few years.
