MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Yellowjacket women’s tennis team embarked on their first match of the UMAC Championship facing off against The W. The Yellowjackets were able to make quick work of the Owls, clinching a 4-0 win. Match Notes: The Yellowjackets swept the doubles point. The No. 1 singles pair of Andreina Tejada (Quito, Ecuador/Isaac Newton) and Claudia Curtis (Hartland, Wis./Lake Mills) won 6-0. The duo of Kate Jonas (Annandale, Minn./Annandale) and Anouk Bluemm (Nuremberg, Germany/Wilhelm-Loege Gymnasium) found themselves winning 6-3 over their counterparts.
