Tigers鈥� Season Ends in NCAC Quarterfinals
Gambier, Ohio – DePauw finished the season with an 8-15 record after losing to John Carroll in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals by a 4-0 score. The Blue Streaks improved to 11-5 and face Denison in one of the semifinal matches tomorrow. John Carroll earned the doubles points with a pair of 6-3 wins at second and third doubles. DePauw’s number-one tandem of Valerie Doherty and Katie King defeated Evelyn Deren and Maddie Kavenagh by a 6-1 score. The Blue Streaks wrapped up the match with wins at the first three singles positions.
