Spaulding Named Scholar-Athlete Of The Year, Joins Roman On All-Academic Team
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola University Maryland's Eli Spaulding was named the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year for men's golf and joined teammate Jackson Roman on the conference's All-Academic Team. Spaulding and Roman earned All-Patriot League First Team recognition earlier in the week for work on the golf course. Spaulding, a finance major, led the Greyhounds in the national rankings this season and was the third-ranked player in the Patriot League at 566 with a 72.1 adjusted scoring average.
