Rams Drop Doubleheader to Shaw University on Friday
RALEIGH, N.C. 鈥� The Winston-Salem State University softball team fell to Shaw University on Friday afternoon inside Worthdale Park. Makayla Vinson hit a two-run homer in the top of the first inning to give the Rams an early 2-0 lead over the Bears. WSSU added a run in the top of the fourth to increase its lead to 3-0. The Bears tied the game after scoring a run in the bottom of the sixth and two runs in the seventh to send the game into extra innings.
