Softball Drops USA South Tournament Opener
RALEIGH, N.C. – William Peace dropped its opening game of the USA South Tournament, falling 3-2 to N.C. Wesleyan on Thursday afternoon. The Pacers battled throughout but were unable to complete the late comeback. Wesleyan scored first in the first inning and added two more in the fifth to take a 3-0 lead. Peace responded in the sixth, stringing together three hits to score two runs. Reagan Stewart drove in a run on a ground out, and Isabelle Olson followed with an RBI to cut the lead to one.
