Men鈥檚 Track Has Strong Finishes on First Day of Texas Invitational
The Incarnate Word men's track and field team had a strong showing on the first day of the Texas Invitational, hosted by the University of Texas, posting a number of top five finishes and competitive results. Anthony Zapata won the 1,500 meters run with a time of 3:45.80. Christian Castro-Cruz finished 6th in the event with a time of 3:49.62 and Eric Pineda followed one spot behind with a time of 3:53.15.
