Men’s Tennis defeats Wartburg to advance to A-R-C Title in Rodgers’ final home match
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Coe College men’s tennis team gave head coach Eric Rodgers a proper send-off in his final home match after 37 years in charge of the Kohawk program, picking up a 4-1 victory over Wartburg College in the A-R-C semifinals. Coe started with the doubles point, winning at numbers one and three. Senior tandem Grant Idoux and Ivan Burt-Smith opened the match with a 6-0 victory at number three before the top Kohawk pairing of Jumpei Kasai and Bryton Short won 6-3 to secure the team point.
