Herons set for Liberty League Championships this weekend
The William Smith tennis team will travel to Ithaca, New York, this weekend to compete in the 2026 Liberty League Tournament. The sixth-seeded Herons will take on third-seeded St. Lawrence on Friday at 5 p.m. in the quarterfinal round with the winner advancing to Saturday’s semifinals. The tournament will be hosted at Cornell’s Reis Tennis Center. William Smith finished the regular season with an 8-10 overall record, including a 3-5 mark in league play, clinching a spot in the Liberty League Tournament for the first time since 2019.
