Abbey Baseball Eighth in Latest Southeast Regional Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS 鈥� The Belmont Abbey baseball team was ranked eighth in the second set of Southeast Regional rankings that were released by the NCAA Wednesday. The Crusaders are one of four Conference Carolinas schools in the rankings and ended the regular season with a 36-12 overall record after a three-game sweep of Chowan. Belmont Abbey is the No. 3 seed in the Conference Carolinas Tournament and opens play Thursday against No. 6 seed Mount Olive at CaroMont Health Park in Gastonia.
