Softball Regional Rankings See Trojan鈥檚 First Appearance
Mount Olive, NC - The University of Mount Olive softball team earned a No. 8 spot in the latest Southeast Regional poll, its debut in this season's rankings. The NCAA regional rankings determine NCAA Tournament selections. The Southeast Region includes Conference Carolinas, South Atlantic Conference, and Peach Belt Conference members. In this system, conference tournament champions from each league receive automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament, while the remaining five spots are awarded to at-large selections based on final regional rankings.
