Softball Falter In Twin-Bill Against New Jersey City
Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College softball team fell in a non-conference twin-bill (3-1, 10-9) to visiting New Jersey City University at South Field on Wednesday. The Lightning go to a 1-23 overall record, while the Gothic Knights improved to a 6-30 mark. Lehman jumped out to a 1-0 lead after three innings in the opener, however New Jersey City scored three runs in the next two innings to hold on for the victory.
