Smith Recognized with NEWMAC Coaching Staff of the Year; Grinyuk Takes Rower of the Year
MARLBOROUGH – The New England Men’s and Women’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced the 2026 Rowing major awards and All-Conference honorees on Wednesday. After leading Smith the 2026 Florence Jope Smith Cup and a second place finish at the NEWMAC Championships, head coach Clare Doyle and her staff were named Co-Coaching Staff of the Year, while Nadia Grinyuk (Scarborough, ME/Scarborough) earned Rower of the Year honors to headline a group of four Bears on the All-Conference Team. Doyle and assistant coaches Graham Marks , Hannah Ondak, and Anne Horton guided Smith to three wins in four races at the championship event.…
