Seventh-Inning Rally Sends Curry Baseball to 9-1 Loss Against Nichols
Milton, MA – The Curry College baseball team held an early lead but could not contain a late surge, falling to Nichols, 9-1, on Tuesday afternoon at Jack Vallely Diamond. Curry struck first in the bottom of the opening inning, as Jorge Rodriguez laced an RBI double to right field to score Anthony Figueroa and give the Colonels a 1-0 advantage. Starting pitcher Lucas daCosta kept Nichols off the board through the first five innings, working efficiently and allowing just a handful of baserunners while striking out seven.
