Scots Knock Off Vikings in Non-Conference Finale
The Monmouth College baseball team finished the non-conference schedule on Wednesday night by beating Augustana College for the first time in 21 years. The Fighting Scots (14-20) plated a run in the top of the ninth to beat the Vikings (24-13) 5-4. The Scots got the offense going in the top of the first. With one out, Aiden Scott (Carrollton, Texas) singled and took second on a throwing error. Clayton Matkovic (Sherrard, Illinois) singled to right for a 1-0 lead.
