Championship Fund NEW ORLEANS – Marshall Tennis freshman Polina Gumeniuk was named the 2026 Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year on Wednesday, as announced by the league office. Gumeniuk was also named Second-Team All-SBC in singles. Johanna Strom earned an All-SBC First-Team Singles honor, the fourth First-Team Singles recognition of her career. Strom also earned a Second-Team Doubles nod with partner Alina Mokrynska .
