No. 12 Rams Ranked Third in Initial NCAA South Central Regional Poll
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Angelo State baseball team is ranked No. 3 in the first NCAA South Central Regional rankings of the season, the NCAA announced Wednesday afternoon. Colorado Mesa and UT Tyler hold the top two spots in the initial poll. St. Mary's, Lubbock Christian and St. Edward's round out the top six, with MSU Denver and West Texas A&M occupying the final two positions. The Rams open postseason play this weekend, hosting Texas A&M-Kingsville in a best-of-three series in the first round of the Lone Star Conference Championship.
