Nabwe Claims 11th Career Big Ten Weekly Honor
MINNEAPOLIS — For the fifth time this season redshirt junior Anthonett Nabwe has earned the Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week honor, the conference office announced on Wednesday. The recognition is the 11th of the Nabwe’s career and comes after she nearly broke the NCAAs all-time collegiate hammer throw record at the 116th Drake Relays. This season Nabwe is undefeated against collegiate competition and is ranked No. 1 in the hammer throw while also slotted at No. 5 nationally in the discus and No. 22 in the shot put.
