Marlins Sweep Randolph-Macon 5-0 in First Round of the ODAC Tournament
The Virginia Wesleyan University women’s tennis team opened ODAC Tournament play in dominant fashion, sweeping sixth-seeded Randolph-Macon, 5-0, in the first round on Tuesday afternoon. The Marlins set the tone early in doubles competition, claiming two of three matches to take a 2-1 lead. At No. 3 doubles, Zoe Vliegen and Lexi Hackbirth cruised to a decisive 6-1 victory to put Virginia Wesleyan on the board.
