LHSAA postpones the 2026 softball championships by a day
The LHSAA softball championships have been postponed by one day due to anticipated inclement weather. Semifinals will now take place on Saturday, with the championship games scheduled for Sunday. Due to expected inclement weather in Southwest Louisiana on Thursday and Friday, the Louisiana High School Athletic Association has decided to postpone its softball championships for a day. Instead of the 40-team field beginning play Friday with the championships Saturday, the semifinals will be played Saturday with the title tilts on Sunday.
