SARASOTA, Fla. – The UAB men's golf team placed fifth at the American Athletic Conference Championship, closing the three-day event with one of its strongest rounds of the season on Wednesday at The Ritz-Carlton Members Club. The Blazers fired a 9-under 279 in the final round, marking the third-best team score of the day and one of UAB's lowest rounds relative to par this season.
