Baseball drops home finale
MOLINE, Ill. – The Augustana Vikings baseball team battled for nine innings before falling 5-4 to the Monmouth FIghting Scots in their final home game of the season. Augustana answered right away after surrendering a first-inning run, as Riley Hendren came around to score in the bottom half of the inning. After leading off with a single and moving into scoring position, Hendren crossed the plate on a sacrifice fly from Lawson Shickel to knot things up at 1-1.
