Baseball Defeats La Verne 20-3 in Non-Conference Matchup
CLAREMONT, Calif. 鈥� The Pomona-Pitzer baseball team rolled past La Verne 20-3 in a non-conference matchup Tuesday afternoon at Alumni Field. Season Impact: The win puts the Sagehens at 25-12 (14-7 SCIAC) on the season. Cooper Berry led the Pomona-Pitzer bats with eight RBI, going 3-of-3 from the plate with two doubles and a homer. Landon Hu posted three RBI while Greg Pierantoni , Kai Gonzaga and Peter Savas each had two.
