After a quick change of their original scheduled opponent for Tuesday, Altamont softball met up with Neoga for a battle of Indian mascots in National Trail Conference play. After a scoreless first inning, Altamont got a leadoff triple from Sophia Long and the next batter Laila Hankins drove her in with a bunt single for a 1-0 lead. Hankins then stole second and advanced to third base before scoring on an error by the Neoga catcher to push the Altamont lead to 2-0.
