Abizaid-Nunez Named To CNE Community Service Team
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (April 29, 2026) 鈥� Western New England men’s tennis junior Michel Abizaid Nunez has been named to the Conference of New England Community Service Team, becoming just the second representative from the program to receive the newest conference award. The Conference of New England Community Service Team honors one student-athlete per conference institution who demonstrates a commitment to their community. Each student-athlete was nominated and selected by their head coach. Abizaid Nunez, a native of Alvaro Obregon, Mexico City, becomes the second international student-athlete in program history to receive honors, joining WNE men’s basketball’s Oscar Morales (Barcelona, Spain).…
