#8 Herons seek league title in Saratoga
The eighth-ranked William Smith rowing team will be back in action on Friday, May 1, when it heads to Saratoga Springs, New York, for the Liberty League Championships. Racing is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on the 2,000-meter Fish Creek Course. The Herons will have four boats competing in races on Friday morning. William Smith’s varsity eight will be on the water first at 9 a.m. With eight crews the varsity eight is split into two four-team heats. The top three finishers will progress to the Grand Final and the fourth place boat will race in the petit final.…
