Yeowomen Battle, Fall to Yellojackets
Berea, Ohio 鈥� The Oberlin College softball team traveled down the road to take on the Baldwin Wallace Yellowjackets in a non-conference doubleheader Tuesday afternoon. The Yeowomen battled through a neck-and-neck game one, but ultimately fell 4-3 on a Yellowjacket walk-off. Oberlin dropped the nightcap 8-4. The Crimson and Gold struck first in the top of the second as a line-drive from Caroline Sniffen scored pinch runner Caitlyn Crotty from third base to take the 1-0 lead.
