Women鈥檚 Track & Field Takes Sixth Place at MEC Outdoor Championships
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. 鈥� The Frostburg State Women’s Track & Field team placed sixth overall at the MEC Outdoor Championships held from Sunday through Tuesday. Day one began in the Hammer Throw, where sophomore Sydney Johnson took fourth overall at 48.84m. Later during the Javelin, sophomore Sarah Heasley set a personal record 30.11m. Going into day two’s field events, junior Bella Mastria (5.41m) and freshman Shekinah Jamison (5.39m) each had scoring spots in the Long Jump, taking seventh and eighth, respectively.
