Women’s Tennis: Scots Set to Face St. Catherine in MIAC Playoffs
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College women’s tennis team will take on fourth-seeded St. Catherine University in the quarterfinals of the MIAC Playoffs Tuesday afternoon. The Scots (10-8) are seeded fifth after posting a 5-5 record in conference play this season. The dual begins at 3:30 p.m. at St. Catherine’s on-campus tennis courts. Macalester, coached by Chase Johnson, is led by seniors Savannah Haugen (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji) and Elizabeth Trevathan (St. Paul, Minn./St. Paul Academy), who are 10-7 as the Scots’ No. 1 doubles tandem.
