Wheaton baseball faces Aurora in a non-conference road contest
Montgomery, Ill. 鈥� The Wheaton baseball team faced Aurora University on Tuesday night in a non-conference road contest that was originally scheduled for April 16 but was moved to tonight due to weather at the time. Aurora won tonight’s make-up game 20-6 in seven innings. Wheaton returns to action tomorrow night at Lee Pfund Stadium hosting Illinois Wesleyan in the CCIW regular season finale for the Thunder at 6:00 p.m. Tomorrow’s game is a key matchup for the Thunder; with a win the squad is virtually assured a spot in next week’s six-team CCIW Tournament.
