WestConn Softball Swept By UMass Boston
BOSTON, Mass. – Junior 2B Kendall Allen (Naugatuck, Conn.) homered in the first game and went 1-for-2 with two RBIs in the second, but the visiting Western Connecticut State University Wolves lost, 4-1, and, 11-2, to the University of Massachusetts-Boston Beacons in Little East Conference (LEC) softball action this evening. WestConn falls to 10-24 overall and 1-13 in the LEC while the Beacons improve to 21-11 overall and 6-8 in the league.
