Vikings Shine at GNAC Championships: Avery & Decathletes Set Records
By: Jeff Evans, Assistant AD for Athletic Communications ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Western Washington University Track & Field team opened the postseason with three athletes competing in the GNAC Combined Championships Monday and Tuesday at the CWU Recreation Complex. Senior Nicole Avery (Pullman, WA) represented the women’s team in the seven-event heptathlon and sophomore Kaden Miller (Cashmere, WA) and freshman Cody Redford (Langley, WA/South Whidbey HS) competed in the 10-event decathlon.
