T-Birds women build big lead, men sit second after day two of CCC Championship
LEWISTON, Idaho – The UBC Thunderbirds women’s golf team (596, +20) has soared to a 17-stroke lead after day two of the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship, while the men (578, +2) remain in a close second place, trailing host Lewis-Clark State (572, -4) by six shots. Both teams found significant improvement in their second of three rounds in the event, with the women (291, +3) shaving 14 strokes off of their day one score, while the men (285, -3) improved by eight.
