Smith Tops Women鈥檚 Tennis, 4-0, in NEWMAC Quarterfinals
Northampton, Mass. 鈥� April 28, 2026 鈥� The fifth-seeded Springfield College women’s tennis team saw its 2026 season come to a close as the Pride fell 4-0 to fourth-seeded and No. 56 nationally-ranked Smith College in the quarterfinal of the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship Tournament. Springfield completes its season with a record of 9-8, while Smith improves to 9-8 and will travel to top-seed and No. 10 ranked MIT for the semifinal round on Saturday afternoon.
