Seniors Ebert and Sykes Named Athletes of the Week
Greensboro, NC- Softball’s Ella Ebert and baseball’s Evan Sykes have been named this week’s Greensboro College Pride Athletes of the Week. Ebert, who has completely turned her season around from a difficult start, displayed her power at the plate, as the lefty slugged a pair of home runs last week. In going 3-for-11 (.273), Ebert blasted solo homers in back-to-back games against Southern Virginia, and William Peace, respectively. The senior also drove in four runs and scored four.
