Scales Named First Team All-Conference, Nine Earn Academic All-Conference
By: Kyle Goessler, Sports Information Director BRANSON, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference announced the the All-Conference teams, award winners, Academic All-Conference and Champions of Character on Monday evening. Junior utility player A'Kiayah Scales (St. Louis, Mo./Mineral Area College) was named First Team All-Conference. Scales led the team with a .446 batting average, 41 hits, seven doubles, one home run and 51 total bases. Junior second baseman Rakiara Bogan (Cape Girardeu, Mo./Mineral Area College) was named Third Team All-Conference.
