Men鈥檚 Tennis Wins UMAC Play-In Match Over Northwestern
MANKATO, Minn. – Bethany advanced to the UMAC Men’s Tennis Tournament semifinals with a 5-0 win over Northwestern on Tuesday in a play-in match. The Vikings improve to 13-7 overall and will face Greenville in the semifinals Friday afternoon at Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis. Northwestern won its lone match at No. 1 doubles, but the Vikings earned the doubles point as Joel Simon and Daniel Poulakidas won 6-1 at No. 2, and Simao Caetano and Thales Oliveira won 6-4 at No. 3.
