Richardson, Texas – Angelo State track and field senior Marie Schuler has been named the Lone Star Conference Field Athlete of the Week following a record-breaking outing at the ASU Invite last week, the conference announced this afternoon. Schuler, a senior thrower from Langenfeld, Germany, set the LSC record in the hammer throw last week, doing so with a throw of 201-7 (61.44m).
