Isaiah Hopf Awarded BIG EAST Field Athlete of the Week
CHICAGO 鈥� DePaul track and field's Isaiah Hopf has been named BIG EAST Men's Field Athlete of the Week following a first-place finish at the Drake Relays, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon. Hopf, a graduate student, secured DePaul's first event title of the weekend in Des Moines, winning the men's triple jump with a mark of 15.13m. His performance set the tone for a strong showing by the Blue Demons and highlighted a productive stretch in the outdoor season.
