Blazer Softball Trio Sweeps CCS Player of the Week Honors
ATLANTA, Ga. – Belhaven Softball cleaned up in this week’s Collegiate Conference of the South awards after a 4-0 stretch to close the regular season. Maryanna Guy was named CCS Player of the Week, Macy Funderburk earned Pitcher of the Week, and AR Sharp picked up Rookie of the Week honors. The trio helped power Belhaven to doubleheader sweeps of Asbury and LaGrange, as the Blazers outscored opponents 37-7 on the week and improved to 32-8 overall and 15-1 in CCS play.
