Vlacich Tabbed NEWMAC Softball Pitcher of the Week
MARLBOROUGH, Mass.鈥� After helping the team post a pair of conference doubleheader sweeps, Babson College junior Katie Vlacich (Concord, N.H./Proctor Academy) was named the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Softball Pitcher of the Week on Monday afternoon. Vlacich recorded back-to-back shutouts and went 2-0 with 10 strikeouts over 12.0 innings to go along with a 0.75 WHIP and a .135 opponents’ batting average in two starts over the weekend.
