FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Senior diver Sophie Verzyl captured three gold medals for Team USA at The American Cup last week in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Verzyl won the individual women’s 3-meter gold medal on Sunday after winning gold in synchronized 3-meter and in the mixed 3-meter and 10-meter event earlier in the week. On Friday, she took home gold in the mixed 3-meter and 10-meter team event alongside Josh Hedberg, Sophie McAfee and Jack Ryan. Verzyl earned her second gold medal ion two days after winning the synchronized 3-meter with partner Anna Kwong.
